Learning Support Program

The Learning Support Program offers the following services to the students and/or parents of École Horizon Heights School:

  • collaboration, as part of a team, with parents and teachers in the preparation of Instructional Support Plans
  • administration of individual student standardized assessments
  • administration of diagnostic assessments to assist teachers with program planning
  • ‘check in / check out’ (support and monitoring ) for students with emotional/behavioural difficulties
  • preparation of referrals for students requiring:

• assistive technology

• psycho-educational   assessments

• behavioral assessments

• speech and language services

• the services of the Family School Liaison Worker
